Mandy McAllister 

Mandy is a multifamily real estate investor who primarily acquires 4-50 unit B-class workforce housing.  She currently owns 353 units in the Midwest.  Mandy firmly believes that mindset is 80% of all success, only 20% is the mechanics.  By working on her mindset and targeting this cashflow heavy strategy, Mandy retired at 40 to be investor/mama to the funniest 5-year-old in the world.

Deal & Partnerships Structures

During this POD you will have 5 different experts teaching about creative strategies to structure a deal and partnerships that ultimately will get you to the closing table. Mandy McAllister will lead the POD and every month she will have a guest teaching about the pros and cons of each option and how to make the numbers work for you. 

Here is what you can expect for each month:

  • Month 1: Anna Kelly will teach how she creatively structured a 20 unit multifamily deal during today's economic times. Anna will teach specifically how she creatively put this deal together by negotiating terms with traditional banks.
  • Month 2: BiggerPockets author Alex Breshears will teach how to creatively put deals together with Private Lenders.  She will discuss the important elements of structuring a deal with a private lender and the critical ways to protect everyone involved.
  • Month 3: Bethany LaFlam, an attorney with Premier Law Group, will teach the legal ramifications of structuring syndication & equity deals. She will also share the "do's" and "don'ts" of structuring any type of real estate investment with equity partners.
  • Month 4: BiggerPockets author Amanda Han will teach on the important tax ramifications when it comes to creatively putting deals together and structuring deals with equity partners, private lenders, or JV partners.
  • Month 5: Mandy McAllister will teach creative ways to structure deals by using the "joint venture" strategy. She will discuss when this is a powerful option, how to put these deals together, pitfalls to avoid, and how to pick a great partner.

She is the Founder and CEO of Steady Stream Investments, an education company teaching families how to add passive income streams to their lives via group investing in apartments. Camilla is a general partner in over 1,000 multifamily units and a 65-bed assisted living community. In addition to her 20 years of experience investing in real estate, she holds an MBA and was known as an innovative HR leader for tech companies. Camilla has started four successful businesses and is the mother of five amazing children. She loves to play soccer and tennis and raise farm animals.
